Celona Consulting was appointed to deliver the design and planning for Goldrush—a thoughtfully designed single-storey rear extension and internal reconfiguration to a private residence. Open-Plan Living Extension: A clean-lined rear extension houses a modern dining and kitchen area with strong visual and physical connections to the rear garden.

Glazing Strategy: Full-height aluminum-framed doors and rooflights maximise daylight penetration and create a sense of openness.

Internal Reconfiguration: Carefully planned alterations to service areas (kitchen, utility, WC) and introduction of pocket doors to improve flow and flexibility.

Structural Integration: New steel beams designed to support attic floor loads and span wider openings in the reworked ground floor.

Material Palette: A refined mix of Marley Weatherboard cladding, painted render, and dark grey aluminum windows offers a warm but contemporary contrast to the existing building.
